Employee Bio

I joined West Window Treatments in 2020, right in the middle of COVID. At the time, I honestly just needed work. I had met Taylor a few times, reached out, and asked if he had anything available. What started out of necessity quickly turned into a real passion, for window coverings, for the industry, and for building West Window Treatments. It ended up being the best kind of happy accident.

What I enjoy most about my job is the people. I love working with our clients, collaborating with our team, and helping our employees grow, while getting to be part of projects that make homes and businesses feel better to be in.

My favorite part of the process is installation day. That moment when everything comes together and the client finally sees the finished product. That’s when a house really starts to feel like home.

Some of my favorite projects have been our larger-scale exterior shade installations. I love bringing the comforts of indoor living into outdoor spaces, turning patios, decks, and yards into places people truly want to spend time.

Design-wise, I’m really drawn to Mountain Modern right now. It fits the Utah landscape perfectly. I enjoy the mix of clean modern lines with natural materials creates space to play with fabrics, textures, and architectural features while still keeping everything intentional and timeless.

If there’s one feature I always recommend, it’s hardwiring during pre-construction whenever possible. It sets homeowners up for clean, seamless automation. If we’re past that stage, I love offering our painted fascia coverings, which allow roller shades to disappear into the wall for a minimal, intentional finish

When helping clients choose the right product, I focus on function first. I want them to imagine how they actually live in the space. Good design isn’t just about looks, it’s about usability. I also lean toward a minimalist approach: clean, intentional solutions that don’t feel overcomplicated.

At home, my style leans mid-century modern. I love modern architecture and design, especially because it’s still relatively rare in Utah and when it’s done well, it really stands out.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me golfing, skiing, or lately, getting really into reading fiction. My favorite Utah spot is Snowbasin Ski Resort—there’s always something happening year-round, and the views never get old.

On the job, I run on an iced Americano with an extra shot of espresso. And if you really want to know me, my favorite candy is Red Vines, and I will absolutely finish the whole box without hesitation.

What I want clients to know is that they’ll get honesty, reliability, and real attention to detail. We care about the experience just as much as the finished product. West Window Treatments brings a fresh perspective to an industry that’s been doing things the same way for decades. We’re proud to be a younger, more innovative voice, challenging the status quo and redefining what customers should expect.

Helping homeowners and designers bring their spaces to life means a lot to me. My family has been in construction my whole life, so being part of the home service world keeps me connected to that background while also letting me work in a creative, design-driven environment.
