Employee Bio
With over 26 years in the window treatment and design industry, I’ve spent my career helping homeowners, designers, and builders bring their spaces to life through thoughtful, well-planned window solutions. I began my design career in 1999 as a full-scale interior designer, and over the years I’ve learned just how transformative the right window treatments can be—not only for the look of a space, but for light control, privacy, security, and everyday functionality.
I was drawn to West Window Treatments because I’ve always believed in supporting local businesses and delivering a more personal level of service than big-box retailers can offer. I love working with a company that prioritizes custom solutions, education, and genuine client relationships.
When working with clients, my goal is simple: understand their needs first, then help them navigate the many product options in a way that feels clear and manageable. I enjoy simplifying the process so clients can make confident decisions while staying on timeline and within budget. Every home is different, and I don’t believe in “upgrades” or “downgrades”—just the right solution for the right space.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing a vision come together. Whether it’s a single room or a full custom build, watching a project evolve from concept to completion never gets old. Some of my favorite projects have been collaborating with builders and homeowners on Parade of Homes projects across Utah, where creativity and craftsmanship really shine.
My personal design style leans traditional with an English countryside influence and a modern flair, which makes me especially fond of roman shades and draperies. That said, my technical side loves the beauty and precision of concealed roller shade and drapery systems, which work beautifully in both modern and traditional homes.
Helping clients choose the right product involves many factors—how a home faces, the level of light control needed, privacy, cleanability, security, functionality, and of course, aesthetics. I take pride in walking clients through these details so the final result feels intentional and well-suited to their lifestyle.
Outside of work, I’m married with six kids, so life is full and busy in the best way. I love community involvement, gardening (especially anything that feels like an English garden), and tackling design, construction, or landscaping projects. Our family enjoys traveling, the arts, and all kinds of sports—everything from skiing and snowboarding to football parties, swimming, and soccer tournaments. One of my favorite Utah getaways is Sundance.
On the job, you’ll usually find me fueled by a CSE pre-workout drink with coconut creamer and pebble ice. And for fun—if there were a worldwide Mrs. Pac-Man competition, I might actually stand a chance.
What I want clients to know most is this: this isn’t just a job to me. I truly care, and I will work tirelessly to provide the best education, service, and support possible. Window treatments are one of the most impactful elements in a home, and I love helping people discover just how much they can transform a space.
