Employee Bio
I’m Christine Beck, an Interior Designer and Window Treatment Specialist with over 25 years of experience in the window treatment and design industry. After working across a wide range of projects and styles throughout my career, it was refreshing to join a company that truly prioritizes quality, thoughtful customization, and cutting-edge automation. West Window Treatments stood out to me for its in-house manufacturing, hands-on oversight, and commitment to doing things the right way, every single time.
What I enjoy most about my role is collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and helping them see the bigger picture. Window treatments are more than a finishing touch, they’re a critical part of how a space functions and feels. I love creating cohesive plans that balance beauty, performance, and long-term satisfaction.
My favorite part of the process is the reveal. Seeing a client’s reaction when the finished product exceeds their expectations never gets old. One of my most memorable projects was a curved window wall of draperies in San Francisco—a technically challenging installation that required precision and creativity. Watching that space transform made every detail worth it.
Having lived and worked in Texas, California, and Utah, I’ve had the opportunity to design across countless styles and regional trends. I enjoy the creativity each project brings and pride myself on delivering timeless, beautiful results no matter the aesthetic. One upgrade I almost always recommend is motorization, clients love the convenience, and it enhances both the performance and longevity of the product.
When helping clients choose the right solution, I focus on listening first. By assessing the space and considering factors like light control, privacy, sound insulation, and overall design goals, I’m able to guide clients toward options that feel intentional and well-suited for their home..
My personal design style is classic at its core, layered with pieces that add character. I love mixing traditional and modern elements, incorporating antiques, and using texture to create spaces that feel timeless and lived-in.
Outside of work, I love, love, love hiking, especially in the mountains of Utah. You’ll often find me exploring Big Cottonwood or Little Cottonwood, trying new restaurants in downtown Salt Lake, or spending time at home with my kids. Ideally bringing them along on hikes whenever I can. On the job, my go-to drink is always my greens with a splash of coconut. Followed closely by a Sprite Zero.
A fun fact about me: I once took up flying and even soloed a Piper Cherokee.
Above all, I want clients to know they can trust me. From the first conversation through final installation, my goal is to communicate clearly, design thoughtfully, and deliver solutions that seamlessly blend function, beauty, and quality. After so many years in the industry, I truly believe what sets West Window Treatments apart is its commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and supporting designers in creating exceptional, tailored spaces—and I’m proud to be part of that
